Some of the events are educational, some social and others plain inspirational.

We are pleased to advertise any events to help champion inspire and support the regional events industry to not only drive social but also economic outcomes for rural and regional Australia. i

Any not for profit businesses are welcome to promote for free. There is a small administrative fee for non-profit businesses. Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to promote your upcoming event.

Rural Women’s Day

LOGO

This is a registered not-for-profit organisation led by Founder & Managing Director, Jackie Elliott, to connect rural and regional women through Community, Collaboration and Celebration.

The ‘Rural Women’s Day’ brand grew beyond expectation following the inaugural sell out event held in the Southern Grampians, Victoria on October 15, 2019. Since then, there has been over 20+ events hosted across Australia.

In 2020 ‘Rural Women’s Day’ published a collaborative keepsake magazine to connect with our community during the pandemic, with 700 copies distributed across Australia and New Zealand. The 2023 issue sold nearly 2000 copies, and as of 2024, the Rural Women’s Day social media community has grown organically to a collective of 15,000 followers.

Do you have an idea or collaboration in mind to connect with rural women in your community?

Get in touch, we would love to hear from you!

Rural Women's Day Ltd. and the International Day of Rural Women share the same goal of empowering rural women, but they differ in scope and approach. The International Day of Rural Women is an annual United Nations observance on October 15, recognising the crucial role of rural women in agriculture, food security, and poverty reduction worldwide.

In contrast, Rural Women's Day Ltd. is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on connecting, collaborating and celebrating rural and regional women across Australia and New Zealand.
