Online Support Services

Rural Women's Support hub is part of the Family Counselling Support Network company

which offers Australians health and wellness support no matter who, where and why.

We know that accessing the support services you need can be bloody tough and frustrating. We recognise the barriers and unique challenges of providing women's health care in rural, regional and remote Australia and the importance of trying to ensure consistent and timely access to equitable, quality services where possible.

Rather than spending countless hours trying to search on-line to find the services if and where they are available, Rural Women's Support Hub is dedicated to help connect rural women in particular, to key services and products that will at least help them source help they need, as close in location, or on line as possible.

How we help YOU

What is a Separation and Divorce Coach and Why Should You Use One?

A Separation and Divorce Coach is someone who cares about YOU, works alongside YOU as you make decisions about your separation and divorce. We know our approach saves our clients a lot of stress, time, and money!

Our clients consult with us when they are considering separating, have separated, or are near obtaining a final divorce order. Some reach out after divorce to get the ongoing support they need to continue to feel stronger and confident on their way forward. For many of our clients, they work with us from the initial stages of separation to a significant period of time after the divorce.

Where Do You Start in the Process with A Separation & Divorce Coach?

When a client starts working with us, we will often initially assist them to work through their feelings at the time - from grief, hurt, betrayal, guilt, to overwhelm and confusion  about how to get help, who to trust. We have additional counsellors and psychologists on our team who can further assist with offering emotional support for our client and their families through each stage of the process.

We then work with our client, at their pace, to find out where they are in the process, their level of knowledge of the options, and where we need to help fill in any of the gaps.  We further discuss their financial situation, their job, their support system, living arrangements, safety, and children.

We help guide our clients on the options available (including the pros and cons of each for their situation), support them with communication strategies, how to care for their own self, to identify triggers, and set boundaries.

We assist our clients in drafting a separation plan regarding living arrangements, children's arrangements, and financial issues, so there is some clarity along the way about parenting and financial matters, before anything is finally negotiated and agreed to. We offer them financial and budget templates to complete in this process.

We help our clients get really organised with documentation, evidence and with their administration - from changing bank accounts to amending their wills. In the event that they need to see a lawyer or financial advisor along the way, they are highly organised and feeling a lot more empowered.

For clients with children, we help them draft parenting plans, and provide ongoing co-parenting and parenting guidance, strategies and support.

We have a panel of trusted experts who we can refer to our clients for additional support as needed - valuers, financial planners, career advisors, mortgage brokers...
